An Experiential Methodology

Our Approach

All coaching delivered by Royal Telos is grounded is tailored specifically for leadership and performance within startup spaces. Utilizing the latest research on leadership behavior, our model focus on providing an in-depth study on the nature of how leaders, specifically founders, operate. This research, along with actionable coaching resources allows coaches to have a clear roadmap on how their clients can solve complex behavioral and organizational challenges.

Instructor-Led Training Modules

Two experiential phases will provide participants with the foundational core skills of ICF-aligned coaching. During the training workshops, the focus is on learning coaching skills to unlock the potential of leaders and build a coaching culture to any organization. Utilizing a highly engaging and participatory experience, workshops will focus primarily on practical experience rather than lecture. Participants will have the opportunity to coach and receive feedback on newly acquired coaching skills.

Language and Age Requirements

All sessions, workshops, self-study modules, and all materials are written and spoken in the English-American language. We ask that all participants be at least 18+ years or older, and have had some experience in leadership roles.

Self-Paced Learning

Self-study instructions are provided during Phase 1 and Phase 2. The expectation is that students come sessions prepared to discuss or be tested on specific content, for example ICF Core Competencies, Code of Ethics, or CKA examples. Students are encouraged to use some of this time in reflection and application.

Mentor Coaching Group Sessions

Each student will be participating in two, 3.5 hour mentor group coaching sessions led by a PCC/MCC Coach. These sessions are designed to support participants as they continue to develop their coaching skills.

Individual Mentor Feedback Sessions

Students will also have three, 1 hour one-on-one mentor sessions with an individual mentor coach. Together, the mentor group sessions and individual mentor feedback sessions will support the participant’s growth and development as a coach. Mentor coaches will provide specific verbal and/or written feedback, using specific examples from sessions to develop a deeper level of coaching mastery.
